01 Day: Arrival Delhi

 

Assistance on arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi. Our representative will accompany you with driver and car to check in to the pre booked hotel, after check in, all the tour related documents will be given to you along with brief about the tour, all your queries will be sorted out in concerned to the tour plan and services and necessary tips about your holidays in India. Later have rest and relaxation in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

 

Delhi, capital city of the Federal Republic of India. It is one of India’s fastest growing cities. It has sprawled over the West Bank of the river Yamuna, straddling the river. Delhi blends an historic past and a vibrant present. Delhi has some of the finest museums in the country. New Delhi was proclaimed the capital of India by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious.  Legend has it that the Pandavas, the august heroes of the epic Mahabharata, originally founded Delhi, then called Indraprastha, around 1200B.C. Present day Delhi is built around the ruins of seven ancient cities.

 

02 Day: Delhi

 

After breakfast take sightseeing city tour of OldDelhi, visiting Jama Masjid, most popular and largest Muslim shrine in India, mighty Red Fort, a wonderful fort constructed   by red sand stone, both are built TajMahal fame Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Raj Ghat: the memorial of great Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. Later take a rickshaw ride in ChandniChowk to explore the colourful and bustling bazaar of Old Delhi. Later sightseeing continues to visit New Delhi include President House (RashtrapatiBhawan), during the British rule this places was the residence of British Viceroys. India gate, this monument was built to honour and tribute to the Indian soldiers, sacrificed themselves during the Afghan war, then visiting Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple) built by the one of the most richest industrialist Birla Family. Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, QutubMinar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; in the evening you can visit see Light and Sound Show at Red fort. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

03 Day: Delhi – Agra (210 kms 4 hours)

 

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel  toAgra.En route a stopover at Sikandra to see the Tomb of MughalEmperor Akbar. Later proceed to Agra. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

 

04 Day: Agra

 

Early morning, visit to witness the incomparable TajMahal with it’s speculative view at the time of Sunrise. TajMahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world; this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. The tour continues with a visit to the AgraFort from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort, which lies, across the river Jamuna, followed by visit to PearlMosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud- Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. In the evening you may visit to the souvenirs market of Agra, one should visit Oswal Emporium where they have built a Mini TajMahal inside their showroom and it took 10 years for the artists to complete the mini replica of the Taj.  Overnight at the hotel.

 

Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the TajMahal. A pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, craftsmen who are descendant of those who worked under the Mughals know Agra for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone. The city is also famous for its carpets, goldthread embroidery and leathershoes. Agra, and the nearby city of FatehpurSikri, is conveniently close to Delhi. Not only TajMahal there is other wonderful monuments and places to visit are: RamBaugh, Sikandra, Itmad-Ud-Daulah, FathepurSikri, around 35 kms from Agra, on the route of Agra and Jaipur.

05 Day: Agra – FatehpurSikri – Jaipur (240 kms: 4 hrs)

 

After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit at the old deserted heritage town: FatehpurSikri, visiting the notable places like: Diwan-e-Khas , its concept is a tall vaulted room with an intricately carved central pillar and capital supporting a platform that once held the emperor’s throne. The airy PanchMahal a 5 storied structure, the tomb of Sufi SalimChisti isa fine example of the marble art. The BulandDarwaza, an imposing gateway 54 m high was built to commemorate Akbar’s Aligarh the famous university town is a center of Islamic studies. After ward continue to drive to Jaipur, on arrival check in to the hotel.

 

After some relaxation later in the evening time visit at modern artistic temple, Birla Temple, speculator in white shimmering marble, glittering in the night hours. Afterwards drive to one of the most authentic and ethnic eating places of Jaipur, called ChokhiDhani, designed and interior like a ethnic village of Rajasthan with lots of traditional entertainment like folk dances, puppet shows, astrology, Rajasthanimusic and welcome in traditional way. Here you can enjoy the traditional Rajasthanifood. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

FatehpurSikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty -FatehpurSikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint SalimChisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to EmperorAkbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwan-e- Khas entirely unique in its concept is a tall vaulted room with an intricately carved central pillar and capital supporting a platform that once held the emperor’s throne. The airy PanchMahal a 5 storied structure rising in pyramidal fashion was probably used by the ladies of the court. The superbly built marble tomb of Sufi SalimChistiisa fine example of the marble art. The BulandDarwaza, an imposing gateway 54 m high was built to commemorate Akbar’s Aligarh the famous university town is a center of Islamic studies. Built by Akbar in 1492; The Tomb is blend of Muslims and Hindu Architectural styles and culture. Indeed a town with golden past.

 

06 Day: Jaipur

 

Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon take a sightseeing tour continues visiting ‘City Palace’ which is located in heart of the city. Known for Mughal and Rajasthani culture and art, residence of the royal family of Jaipur. Not far away is the Central Museum. JantarMantar was built by Rajpoot King Swai Jai Singh, he built 5 observatories, JantarMantar in Jaipur is one of them. HawaMahal is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur, called also ‘Palace of Winds’ built with a concept for the woman of royal families to speculate the royal ceremonies  and festivals without being visible to general public. Both the monuments are built in the complex of City Palace. Later late afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs. In the evening take a cycle rickshaw ride to explore the colourful market of Jaipur city, optionally you can see the movie at Raj MandirCinema Hall, which is most beautiful cinema hall in Asia.

 

Note: At night visit to Kamal’s house (owner of the company) for Dinner. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

 

07 Day: Jaipur – Mumbai (By Air)

 

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After rest and relaxation evening is free for shopping in the local markets of Mumbai. Overnight at the hotel.

 

08 Day: Mumbai

 

After breakfast at the hotel a take a sightseeing tour   of Mumbai, drive to Gateway of India, then board at ferry (motorboat) to Elephanta Caves 10 kms. After taking around 100 steps, you will be at ruins of the ‘Elephanta Caves’. The caves built with support of large pillars that seem to hold the ceiling, which is made, have crossbeams. The picturesque presentations of the 9 marvelous sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe- inspiring. The most worthy is the panel is the Trimurthi, or triple-headed Shiva, where  the God is depicted as the destroyer, the preserver and the creator. After sightseeing return back by cruise to Gateway of India, here there are so many famous restaurants of Mumbai, the most popular is  ‘Leopold&Mondegar’, hotel Taj and other Chinese , Indian, multi cuisines  restaurants to have your lunch ( of your own). After lunch explore some more worthy to visit places like ‘Parliament house’ ( from outside only),’Prince of Wales Museum’, Marine Drive, Hanging Gardens, Jain temples, Haji Ali, all are lined in one stretch, you can short out the places of your interest. Later drive back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Note: Elephanta Caves and Prince of Wales museum are closed on every Monday.

 

09 Day: Mumbai -Goa (By Air)

 

After breakfast, check out the hotel and transfer to the airport to board the flight for Goa. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for beach activities. Overnight at the resort.

 

Goa, a Portuguese explorer, Afonso de Albuquerque sailed up the river Mandovi defeated the Bijapur army and rode into the capital triumphantly bearing a Portuguese Standard in one hand, and a GoldCrucifix in the other. A curious blending of cultures took place, affecting every sphere of Goa life, from religion to architecture, cuisine to art. The chapter of Goa’s history ended 451 years later when Goa ceased to be a Portuguese colony, and became a part of the Indian Union. Parasailing, yachting, windsurfing, and deepsea diving are some of the more popular water sports, facilities for which are available. 451 years of Portuguese rule has imbued Goa towns and villages with a unique culture. Whitewashed chapels and churches that dot the landscape are surrounded by sleepy villages and rice fields.

 

10 Day: Goa

 

After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy the beaches and amenities available at the resort. You can take a   sightseeing tour of Old Goa -10 km from Panjim, the basilica of Bom Jesus, the 16th century church dedicated to infant Jesus and enshrining the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier, is one of the most important sight of Goa. The other Churches in the same area are St. Cathedral, with its vaulted interior, Church of our Lady of Rosary and Nunnery of St. Monica. The Aguada Fort built by the Portuguese commands the mouth of the Mondovi River and houses a lighthouse. During the evening time. And in the enjoy boat cruise at popular Mandovi River. Later return to the resort for overnight stay.

 

11 Day: Goa

 

After breakfast rest of the day is free to explore the beaches of Goa, visiting visit the famous beaches of Goa like Anjuna Beach, Colva Beach&Calangute Beach. Overnight at the resort.

 

12 Day: Goa – Mumbai (By Air) Hometown (By Air)

 

After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy the beaches and amenities available at the resort.  Later check out of the resort and transfer to the airport to board the flight for Mumbai. On arrival transfer to board the connecting flight to hometown.
