01 Day:ArrivalDelhi

 

Welcome at the Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi, our representative assist and escort you by a private car and transfer to the pre-booked hotel. After your check in, you will be given all the required documents related to your tour plan; he will explain all your queries and feedback about the entire tour plan. If you are arriving by morning flight, after relaxation you can take a short tour of the sightseeing of the city; otherwise take the rest and overnight at the hotel in Delhi

02 Day: Delhi

 

 

After breakfast  sightseeing tour to explore the historic city, firstly visiting Old Delhi: (Shahajahanabad) the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest  and most splendid mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of TajMahal fame, Rajghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated.  Later in you opt cycle rickshaw ride past through the bustling and colorful bazaar of ChandaniChowk. The sightseeing  continue to explore the best tourist attractions of New Delhi include President House (RashtrapatiBhawan), the regal residence of British rulers, a palace built for British Viceroys. India gate, this monument was built to honour and tribute to the Indian soldiers, sacrificed themselves during the Afghan war, then visiting Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple) built by wealthiest Birla family. Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, QutubMinar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; in the evening witness the light and sound show at Red fort. The show projects splendid history of 5000 years old city, a truly memorable experience.  Return to the hotel for overnight at the hotel.

03 Day: Delhi – Varanasi (By Air)

 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later take an excursion tour to Sarnath, located at 10 Kms from Varanasi where LordBuddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; visit at DharmarajikaStupa The 110ft tall DhamekhStupa marks the place where Buddha preached first sermon., also visit to Archaeological museum, the collection of ancient Buddhist relics and antiques comprising numerous Buddha and Bodhisatvaimages, also see the Ashok Pillar with 4 lions, built in 3rd Century BC., symbolize both Ashoks’simperial rule and the kingship of the Buddha. The four-lion capital was adopted as the emblem of the modern Indian republic. After visit drive back to Varanasi for overnight stay.

 

Varanasi: Sandwiched between the rivers Varuna and Ashi as they join the Ganges, Varanasi takes its name from its location. It is also called Kashi, the city of light, but the British, in an endeavor to simplify matters, had coined their own name for the place— Benaras. Varanasi is the city of a thousand temples. The main object of all devotees is the KasiVishwanath Temple. According to Hindu belief, Benaras or Varanasi as it is known is the cosmic center of the Universe. The renowned American novelist Mark Twain once wrote, “Benaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even thanlegend and looks twice as old as all of them put together.

 

04 Day: Varanasi

 

Early morning take a boat ride for a pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation ghats are Manikarnika&Harishchandra where funeral pyre burns day and night. Every pious Hindu believes that to die in Kashi and to be cremated on banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death. VaranasiHindus holiest city and one of the oldest living cities in the world.Varanasi was already old when Rome was founded, a flourishing trade centre when the Buddha came to Sarnath to preach his first sermon. It was a city of great wealth and religious important when the Chinese travellers HiuenTsang visited in the 7th century. Also visit the Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb built on the site of an ancient Hindu temple. Later in the evening a walk through the myriad of narrow lanes in the old city, past the many ancient shrines, temples and little shops crowded with customers looking for the famous gold brocades&silver for weddings or even for cremation cloth. Explore the oldest cultural city of India, by visiting the most famous temple; KashiVishvanath or Golden temple which, though off-limits to non-Hindus, can be seen from the top floor of the old house opposite it, strolling in narrow lanes of the colourful bazaar of ancient city. Followed by the Bharat Matatemple with a big relief map of India in marble, Durga temple, TulsiManasMandir.Overnight at the hotel.

 

05 Day: Varanasi – Khajuraho (By Air)

 

After breakfast, checkout and transfer to the airport to board the flight for Khajuraho. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Khajuraho is worldly known for its magnificent temples of Erotica built between 950 A.D. and 1050 A.D.Khajuraho – The very name, Khajuraho, arouses strange  dreams even in daytime. Of full bodied feminine forms frozen in stone, so real that you wonder whether they might come alive at a touch. The temples are scattered in an area of 8 sq km. after relaxation take a sightseeing tour of  Western group of Templesconsisting of the massive LaxmanTemplededicated to lord Vishnu, the Laxmi and Varahatemplesdedicated to Vishnu’s consort Laxman, the KandariyaMahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yoginitemple dedicated to goddess Kali. Also visit Archaeological museumwith its collection of stonesculptures of the Chandela dynasty. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Khajuraho: The fascinating temples of Khajuraho, India’s unique gift of love to the world, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, were built between 950 and 1050A.D. It derives its name from the Khajur tree (the date palm tree), which can be found in abundance in the area. The divine sculptures in these temples are a tribute to Life itself, embodying everything that is sublime and spontaneous about it. With the wane of the Chandela Empire, these magnificent temples lay neglected, and vulnerable to the ravages of Nature. It was only in this century, that they were rediscovered, restored and granted the recognition that they justly deserve. Originally there were 85 temples, of which only 22 still exist. These magnificent temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthankaras. The three main compartments are the entrance (ardhamandapa), assembly hall (mandapa), and the actual sanctum (garbhagriha). The temples are grouped into threegeographicaldivisions: western, eastern and southern.

 

06 Day: Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh (290 kms: 7 – 8 hrs)

 

Early morning visit Eastern group of Temples and visit the Jain temples of Parsvanath, Adinath, and ShantiNath. Also visit the temples of Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman, both dedicated to lord Vishnu. Later check out and drive to Bandhavgarh, on arrival transfer to the Jungle Lodge for relaxation. In the evening enjoy campfire and meeting with the jungle experts. Overnight at the lodge.

 

07 Day: Bandhavgarh

 

Bandhavgarh, prior to becoming a National park, the forest around Bandhavgarh, had long been maintained as a Shikargah, or game preserve, of the King of Rewa. This Park is spread over an area of 437 sq. km. The terrain is made of rocky hills, salforests and grazing areas, formerly agricultural land. One can enjoy viewing the wildlife by two ways to explore wildlife life adventure one is by Jeep Safari and another one if by Elephant Safari. Jeep safaris are undertaken during the early morning hours till evening with a naturalist. Elephant safari trips are organized for tiger tracking early in the morning. Today take a Jeep Safarito explore the wildlife to see Nilgai, Chausingha, Chital, Chinkara, WildBoar and sometimes a Fox or Jackal. After Jungle safari return to the jungle resort and if time permits, visit KalchuriArcheological remains. Bandhavgarh, is also famous for the archaeological remains of the Kalchuri period that have been found here. Evening, talk by a conservationist and tiger expert. Dinner and overnight at the jungle lodge.

 

Bandhavgarh has a very deep-rooted importance of it’s own in the history and mythology of India. Looming high over the entire park and located in the heart of it’s core area, is a fort dating back to the mythological era of Rama and Hanuman from the Hindu epic Ramayana. It is said that the two monkeys who created the “setu“, or bridge, between India and Lanka to enable Rama to cross over and vanquish the demon king, Rawana, were also the architects of the Bandhavgarhfort. This fort was used by Rama and Hanuman on their journey back to their kingdom from Lanka. This fort was later handed over by Rama to his brother Lakshmana who came to be known as the “Bandhavdhish“, lord of the fort.

 

Bandhavgarh National Park: Set amongst The Vindhya Hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh consists of 168 sq miles of Sal & a mixed forest with large stretches of Bamboo and Grassland to The North. One is genera lly lucky to view The Tiger, Gaur (Indian Bison) Chital, Chansingha( Four horned antelope). This Park houses some 150 species of birds including the BlueBearded bee eaters, White Browed Fantails, and The Mal abarHornbill. The Bandhavgarh Fort, besides offering breath taking views, houses a 35 ft reclining statue of Lord Vishnu and 10th Century Rock Images of the incarnation of the Lord.

 

08 Day: Bandhavgarh National Park

 

Early morning take a jungle safari. Later return to the resort/lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, trek to Bandhavgarh Fort situated at the highest point of Bandhavgarh hills and believed to be around 2,000 years old.  Also study the watermanagement system here. See the archaeological find of over 1000 years and study the unique topography ofthe Park from a birds-eye view, visit to the rural schools at Bandhavgarh. Evening recap of the day’s activity, walk through MedicinalPlantgarden, study conservation practices such as solar cooking, solar water heating, vermiculture, and study the unique architecture of the Lodge, which is mud huts, and a unique Indian Village. A lecture on astronomy will follow, including stargazing with a telescope. Optionally you can also visit Bandhavgarh Ancient Caves and Tala Village, which is one of the most beautiful attractions of Bandhavgarh, and is the lowest point of the wildlife reserve. Overnight at the lodge.

 

09 Day: Bandhavgarh National Park – Jabalpur (190 kms: 4 hrs)

 

Morning you can visit the rural schools and the little town of Bandhavgarh. Later checkout and drive to Jabalpur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the evening is free for relaxation and individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Jabalpur: Famous among tourists for its marble rocks and waterfalls at Bedaghat, Jabalpur also provides access to splendid views of the Narmada River that flows around the city. Jabalpur was known as Tripuri and was governed by Hayahaya rulers. The ancient Indian epic of Mahabharata has references to this city. Later Jabalpur became a part of the great Mauryan and the Gupta Empires. From time to time, the Mughal rulers tried to overrun it. The legendary Gond QueenRani Durgavati died fighting the Mughal forces led by the great Mughal Emperor Akbar. It finally fell to the Marathas in 1789 and was taken over by the British in 1817, when they defeated the Marathas.

 

10 Day: Jabalpur

 

After breakfast, ta ke a city sightseeing tour of Jabalpur. Jabalpur is famous for its Marble Rocks and for the city resting on the banks of the Narmada River.  It is also the birthplace of Mauveen! Morning visit Dhauladhar, a waterfall in adjoining part of Bhedaghat. Here one can observe the force of water flow and considered photogenic spot. MadanMahal Fort&Balance rock, the fort is a pride of Jabalpur city. While going towards MadanMahal fort, one can also see another piece of attraction “Balance rock” in bonus. Balance rock is a large piece of natural rock positioned over another rock occupying very less area. Visit Shiva temple and the most popular boatingsite of Jabalpur city, Bhedaghat. After a picnic lunch at the grounds of the Marble Rocks, board a rowboat for the leisurely trek 2 kms, up the gorge and wait viewing the rocks by moonlight. The Marble Rocks are gleaming white, though are said to change colours as the sunsets.  They are very, very impressive. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

11 Day: Jabalpur – Bhopal (330 kms: 6 hrs)

 

Early morning check out from the hotel and drive to Bhopal. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After relaxation, visit LaxmiNarayan TempleAndMuseum, Van Vihar, Upper And Lower Lakes. Situated behind ShaukatMahal on the banks of the Upper Lake is GoharMahal, which is an architectural gem dating back to the times of Kudsia Begum, also known as GoharBegum, who built this sprawling palace in 1820. The Mahal is a magnificent expression of the fusion of Hindu and Mughal architecture. Evening visit the most unique national institutes in India, Bharat Bhawan is a centre for the performing and visual arts. Designed by renowned architect, Charles Correa, the contours of BharatBhawan merge in exquisite harmony with the landscape creating a visual impact of spacious and natural elegance. Later return back to hotel for overnight stay.

 

Bhopal, the capital city of the largest state in India, Madhya Pradesh, is also known as the City of Lakes because of the two beautiful lakes that are situated in the center of the city. Bhopal is a beautiful city also famous for its mosques. The city of lakes, Bhopal, is divided as; Old Bhopal and New Bhopal. Both the new Bhopal and the old Bhopal are contradictory to each other. One of the greenestcities of India, it has wide, clean, well-lit roads lined with fiery, tall Gulmohar trees.

 

12 Day: Bhopal – Sanchi (46 kms: 1 hr)

 

 

After an early morning breakfast, check out and take city tour of Bhopal visiting After relaxation takes a sightseeing tour of the city visiting the Jama Masjid: Gold spikescrown the minarets of this beautiful mosque built in 1837ShaukatMahal and SadarManzil: an architectural curiosity. Also visit the Taj-ul-Masajid is one of the largest mosques in Asia, built by NawabShahjehan Begum around a courtyard with a large tank in the center and with an imposing double storeyed gateway with 4 recessed archways and 9 imposing cusped multifold openings in the main prayer hall. The Quibla wall in the prayer hall is carved with 11 recessed arches, while the mimber is made of black basalt.After visit, drive to Sanchi, the ancient seat of Buddhist learning. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later take a sightseeing tour of Sanchi. The places worth visiting are Archaeological Museum – The most interesting pieces are the lion capital from the Ashoka pillar, a Yakshi hanging from a mango tree and a beautiful Buddha figure in red sandstone. Great Stupa – This is the finest work of art at Sanchi and amongst the finest examples of Buddhist art in India. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Sanchi is known for its Stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from the 3rd century B.C. to the 12th century A.D. The most famous of these monuments, the SanchiStupa, was originally built by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka, the then governor of Ujjayini, whose wife Devi was the daughter of a merchant from adjacent Vidisha. Their son Mahindra and daughter Sanghamitra were born in Ujjayini and sent to Sri Lanka, where they converted the King, the Queen and their people to Buddhism.

 

13 Day: Sanchi – Orcha (300 kms: 6 -7  hrs)

 

 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Orcha. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Betwa River Surrounded by Sheesh Mahal, cenotaphs “Chhatris” on the bank of river Betwaand visitthe RamTemple. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Orcha: The medieval city of Orchha, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, seems to have frozen in time, its palaces and temples still retaining their original grandeur. Orchha had the distribution of being the capital of one of the largest and most powerful kingdoms of Central India. The Bundela Rajput chieftain, RudraPratap, founded the city, located by the side of the beautiful Betwa River, in the 16th century. The word Orchha means ‘hidden’. When the Tughlaqs, who were ruling Delhi in the 15th century, pushed the Bundelkhand rajas out of Garkhundar, they retreated to distant Orcha..

 

14 Day: Orcha

 

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Orchha, the medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and temples of the 16th and 17th century – which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time, walk by the century old temples and forts, each with its own poignant history, and rest amidst the beauty of the ruins. Amongst the various imposing edifices, o f particular interest are the JehangiriMahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of Mughal Emperor Jehangir, The Raj Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan temple, both noted for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. Visit various temple and Palaces such as ChaturbhujTemple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Shiva Mandir, PanchMukhiMahadevMandir. Also visit Fort Palace of Raj Mahal, Jahangir Mahal, Diwan -I- Khas and Rai Praveen Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

 

 

 

15 Day: Orchha – Gwalior – Agra (208 kms: 6 hrs) 

 

 

Morning after breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Agra, en route visit Gwalior; sightseeing of the majestic Gwalior fort is one of the largest and mightiest forts in India. Also visit Sas-Bahu Temples are 11th-century temples of Lord Vishnu while Teli-ka- Mandir is a 300-metre-high Vishnu temple of the 9th Century. You can opt to have lunch at Gwalior; later continue to drive to Agra, on arrival check in to the hotel. After relaxation, visit the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula, 35 kms from Agra, built by Empress Noorjehan daughter of Shahjahan, this monument a tribute to her great father.  Later return to the hotel the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Agra is famous as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World-the TajMahal. A pleasant town with comparatively slow pace, craftsmen who are descendant of those who worked under the Mughals know Agra for its superb inlay work on marble and soapstone. The city is also famous for its carpets, goldthread embroidery and leathershoes. Agra, and the nearby city of FatehpurSikri, is conveniently close to Delhi. Not only TajMahal there is other wonderful monuments and places to visit are: RamBaugh, Sikandra, Itmad-Ud-Daulah, FathepurSikri, around 35 kms from Agra, on the route of Agra and Jaipur.

 

16 Day: Agra

 

Early morning, visit to witness the incomparable TajMahal with it’s speculative view at the time of Sunrise. TajMahal, the architectural modern day wonder of the world; this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world. The tour continues with a visit to the AgraFort from where one can get the most moving view of the Taj from the little octagonal tower in the Agra Fort, which lies, across the river Jamuna, followed by visit to PearlMosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud- Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. In the evening you may visit to the souvenirs market of Agra, one should visit Oswal Emporium where they have built a Mini TajMahal inside their showroom and it took 10 years for the artists to complete the mini replica of the Taj.  Overnight at the hotel.

17 Day: Agra – FatehpurSikri – Jaipur (240 kms: 4 hrs)

 

Early morning, visit world’s most popular and beautiful monument: TajMahal with its speculative view at the time of sunrise. Later check out the hotel and drive to Jaipur, en route visit FatehpurSikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty – FatehpurSikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint SalimChisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Later proceed to Jaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the evening free for relaxation, you may opt to explore the colourful bazaar of Jaipur by cycle Rickshaw ride. 18 Day: Jaipur

 

Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. JantarMantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The HawaMahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex of Jaipur. Afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs. In the evening visit to Birla Temple, speculator white marble temple, glitters in the night.

 

Note: At night visit to Kamal’s house (owner of the company) for Dinner. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

 

19 Day: Jaipur – Pushkar (135 kms: 3 hrs)

 

After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Pushkar, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Pushkar is well-known for the world’s largest cattle fair every year in the month of November, with glorious celebration. A conurbation of Pilgrimage from the time of immemorial with over 500 temples and ghats, Pushkar begets an inheritance of enduring architectural heritage. Pushkar emit an ambience of spirituality and peace that casts an allure to visit this place again and again. Take a sightseeing tour of the city visiting temple of Lord Brahma surrounded by Pushkar Lake. Witness the devotees taking dip into the holywaters and offering prayers on the banks of the lake. Also visit the Pushkar Fair site, which is right opposite the PushkarLake. Optionally you may visit the Dargah of Khwaja Sahib at Ajmer ( 11 kms )  It is India’s most significant shrine for Muslims and thousands of devotees of all religions visit the holy place through the year. 20 Day: Pushkar – Jodhpur (225 kms: 5 hrs)

 

 

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel. Later take an excursion tour to the Heritage Palace of Balsamand – 20 kms away overlooking the lake of Balsamand. Afterwards continue to drive to Jodhpur, on arrivaltransfer to the hotel. In the evening you may opt to explore the local market, visiting various authentic restaurants. You may choose ‘On the rocks’ an open air restaurants with Rajasthani hospitality, offering authentic food and folk music and dance. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

21 Day: Jodhpur – Bishnoi Village – Jodhpur (Excursion 25 kms: 45 min)

 

After breakfast the city tour starts by visiting massive Mehrangarh Fort, magnificent JaswantThada (Mausoleums of the great Rajput King: Jaswant Singh), UmaidBhawan Palace and museum – India is one of most imposing and regal palaces,   built by Maharaja Umaid Singh, designed by of famous architect Edwardian and Henry VaughanLanchester, who constructed this wonderful palace, a   fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Later take an excursion to Bishnoi Village, the villagers known by cast “Bishnois” the guardians of animals. Bishnois are vegetarians and thus they have great revere for all living things. Sure they keep buffaloes, sheep and goats but only for the milk, the wool and the manure. Then visit to the local handicrafts viz shoe makers, pottery hand weaving and also men in their traditional attire, women clad with ancestral silver Jewellery, en-route watch and photograph the beautiful wildlifeblack buck, chinkaras, peacock etc. liberally moving in plenty of care by the local villagers. After visit drive back to Jodhpur for overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Bishnoi Village: a survivor of a great famine, which raged in 1485, already thought the principles of the ecology of centuries ago. His name: Jambeshwar or Jambhoji. He observed that the famine was the result of the deforestation in the region (already at that time!). He formulated a list of 29 rules, among other things don’t kill any animals, don’t cut down green trees, take from the fields only what you need, etc. These 29 rules (Bish- noi means ’29’ in the Hindi language) form the base of the Bishnoi-philosophy. Of course they are vegetarians and therefore they have great respect for all living things. Sure they keep buffaloes, sheep and goats but only for the milk, the wool and the manure. The last one they use as fuel and as construction material for they houses. The Bishnoi people accordingly expect that the tourist respect their way of life, the nature.

 

22 Day: Jodhpur – Bikaner (240 kms: 5 hrs) – Deshnok – Bikaner

 

Early morning check out from the hotel and drive to Bikaner. On arrival, transfer to hotel. After relax, take the city tour of Bikaner visiting most popular and magnificent Junagarh Fort – built by Raja Rai Singh, this had never conquered during the entire history of Bikaner. The forts is having around 37 splendid palaces within the fort complex, there is wall of 7 kilometers around the fort and 37 bastions and 2 massive gates. In the evening, take an excursion (or you may visit during travelling from Bikaner to Mandawa)  to Deshnok, which worldly known for the Rat Temple, this temple is 600 years old, dedicated to Goddess Karni Mata, the temple is built by King of Bikaner Ganga Singh, the temple is decorated with cared silver gages and marble stone work. Afterwards return back to hotel for overnight.

 

Bikaner: The city was founded by RaoBikaji in 1488; RaoBikaji was the son of King Jodhaji of Jodhpur, due to some personal confront with his family, he took the courage to build his own city by adopting desert and barren land and then he transformed into a charming city called Bikaner, and the city was named after the King Bikaji. The 500 years old city standing still with glorious past is located in Northern part of Rajasthan. The Rajpoot rulers here built splendid palaces, temples and forts that resonance of magnificence and images of monsoon clouds in this desert land. The city is barricaded by 7 kms long walls built in 18th sanctuary with 5 huge gates around the city. Today, a flourishing city of wool, food and milk. The Bikaner is known also one of the international standard camel breeding farm and rate temple of Karni Mata. Junagarh and Lallgarh palace are major tourist attraction of the city. The city is known for colourful market and camel festival every year. Bikaner is also known as a gateway to Jaisalmer.

 

23 Day: Bikaner – Mandawa (185 kms: 5 hrs)

 

Today after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to medieval city Mandawa in Rajasthan. On arrival, check in to a heritage hotel. Mandawa is also called the ‘open-air art gallery’ of Rajasthan. After relaxation, explore the Mandawa town, visiting notably known havelies: BinsidharChokhani, Newatia, and GulabRaiLadia Haveli. The BinsidharNewatia Haveli, are famous for its inquisitive paintings. The GulabRaiLadia Haveli is known for its erotic paintings and images, now mostly defaced. These havelis are like museums, numerous havelis built by the wealthy merchants as in old days. In the evening you can walk around the narrow lanes of the tradition town, watching locals and shops. Later enjoy the traditional music and dance, live performance by the local artist, during the gala dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Mandawa: During the mid of 18thcentaury this town was founded, located in Shekhawati region in Rajasthan. Mandawa is known for its’ speculative havelies and fort. Now days, Mandawa is known as an imposing mirage like fort now a popular heritage hotel with modern amenities. The structure of this place recalls one of the cultural and tradition this place used to be in the bygone golden era. The affluent and dominant traders and merchants built gigantic havelis, bejeweled with beautiful wall paintings, for the purpose of their residence. In the past time, painting subject was mythology dominated the themes of the frescoes, animals, dancers, religion, portraits, displaying local legends, hunting and wrestling scenes, etc. And some fascinating paintings, portraying Lord Krishna and his cowherds. During the British ruler in India, the traditions subject was turned in to cars, trains, balloons, hunting, nature, phones, and gramophones etc., a truly monuments city of Rajasthan.

 

Day24: Mandawa – Delhi (280 kms: 6 hrs)

 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to the International airport to board the scheduled flight for hometown.
