Day 01 Arrive Delhi

 

On arrival at Delhiairport or railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

 

Day 02 City Tour of Delhi

 

The sightseeing tour to explore the historic city, firstly visiting Old Delhi: the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest  and most splendid mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of Taj Mahal fame, Rajghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. Later in you opt cycle rickshaw ride past through the bustling and colorful bazaar of Chandani Chowk.

 

The sightseeing continues to explore the best tourist attractions of New Delhi include President House (Rashtrapati Bhawan). India gate, this monument was built to honour and tribute to the Indian soldiers, sacrificed themselves during the Afghan war, Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple) built by wealthiest Birla family. Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty.  Later afternoon shopping at the malls. In the evening witness the light and sound show at Red fort. The show projects splendid history of 5000 years old city, a truly  memorable experience. Return to the hotel for overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 03 Delhi to Mukundgarh

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Mukundgarh. Check in at Hotel Mukundgarh Fort. Mukundgarh Fort located in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, was constructed during the early 18th century by a local Rajput ruler, Raja Mukund Singh. The entire fort is spread over a land area of 2 acres and is a massive fortress that reflects the ancient charm and glory of the ancient Rajputs. It is a storehouse of antique furniture and wall paintings and is known for its captivating courtyards, halls, balconies and arches. Apart from all the facilities that this lovely heritage hotel offers there is a shopping arcade, a swimming pool and other facilities for recreation. There is a lovely handicrafts market in Mukundgarh that you may visit. Overnight in this lovely heritage hotel.

 

Day 04 Mukundgarh to Mandawa (Shekhawati)

 

This morning after breakfast proceed to explore the Shekhawati Region. Visit the printed havelies of the Dundlod town and surrounding areas of Mandawa and Nawalgarh. The Painted Havelies of the region are called The Open air art Galleries. The region is unique as nowhere in the world there is such a profusion of exquisite wall paintings. Explore Castle Mandawa at your own pace and enjoy an overnight stay.

 

Day 05 Mandawa to Bikner

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Bikner. Enroot visit Junagarh Fort, built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593, it has a 986-metre-long wall with 37 bastions. It is an unassailable fortress, which has never been conquered. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 06 Bikaner to Khimsar

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Khimsar, enroot visit Deshnok – The greatest attraction of Deshnok is the temple of Shri karnimata famous all over the world as “Rat Temple”.

 

A normal human being will be absolutely scared over the thought, of the number of rats (They look like rats, but actually aren’t) that are in the temple. However, the outstanding fact is that, these Kabas are harmless and play around in the temple without disturbing the devotees. Rather they sit on devotees’ laps, shoulders, hands and head which the devotees think to be of divine spirit and blessings of the Goddess. The magnificence of these Kabas is that, despite being innumerable, they never go out of the temple’s boundaries. The miraculous fact is that no disease relating to rats has ever been found in Deshnoke till date. Neither the temple stinks of foul smells nor it is dirty anywhere.

 

Later visit the Nagaur Fort. The Nagaur is famous for the second largest cattle fair in India held every year during the Hindu month of Magh (Jan-Feb) whose basic purpose is cattle trading. After reaching Khimsar check in at hotel to stay overnight.

 

Day 07 Khimsar Sand Dunes village

 

This morning after breakfast visit Khimsar Fort. The Khimsar Fort on the edge of the great Thar Desert is one of the main attractions in Khimsar. This afternoon excursion to Khimsar Dunes village and enjoy a camel safari visit nearby hutments to witness the lifestyles of rural folk. Enjoy a sunset tea or bonfire dinner. Overnight in Khimsar Dunes Village.

 

Day 08 Khimsar to Jodhpur

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the Blue City of Jodhpur. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 09 Jodhpur City Tour

 

This morning after breakfast visit the Mehrangarh Fort situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort visit Moti- Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1899 and the Umaid Public Gardens. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 10 Jodhpur to Karni Kot Sodawas

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Sodawas. On arrival you enter through a grand gateway into the KarniKot, which is still lived in by the family of Late Thakur Bishan Singhji. The present ThakurSunder Singh of Sodawas and his family will join you and will give you an opportunity to discuss their traditions, culture and the rich heritage of Marwar erstwhile State of Jodhpur. Beyond the Kot walls you will encounters breath taking view of lush green fields of mustard and wheat; and in the village, one can see artisans working on the local crafts of the region. You can also request for horse safari, village walk or massage by expert village massagers. Overnight at hotel Karni Kot Sodawas.

 

Day 11 Sodawas to Narlai

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Narlai – situated in an ancient dwelling at the foot of a hill, dotted with caves and temples. One can go for quiet walks from here and also visit the local bazaar. Close to Narlai is an ancient temple where a miraculous flame has been burning for centuries and giving off saffron instead of black soot. An interesting horse safari or even camel and jeep safaris can be arranged with the hotel.

 

Day 12 Narlai to Ranakpur

 

This morning you will be transferred by road to Ranakpur famous for Jain Temples. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. An enormous basement covers 48,000sq. feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns. Visit Muchhal Mahaveer Temple- The distinctive feature of this Jain temple is the statue of Lord Mahavira with a moustache. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 13 Ranakpur to Udaipur

 

This morning after breakfast proceed to Udaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Late afternoon enjoy a two hour boat-ride on Lake Pichola and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 14 Udaipur City Tour

 

Today explore this beautiful city visiting The City Palace and Museum, it is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Pratap Memorial has the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. JagdishTemple which was built in 1651 AD. Saheliyon Ki Bari a small ornamental garden. In the evening take a walking tour through the narrow lanes and back streets of Udaipur upto the Washing Ghats at the lake Pichola. Visit one of the fine downtown restaurants for an optional dinner. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 15 Udaipur to Deogarh

 

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Deogarh and check in at hotel Deogarh Mahal. Deogarh Mahal was converted into a hotel by the present owner Rawat Nahar Singh. The family is closely associated with the hotel and personally supervises and monitors the on goings. Day 16 Deogarh to Roopangarh

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Roopangarh enroot visit the Ajmer Dargah Khwaja Sahib, one of the holiest Muslim shrines in the country. On arrival at Roopangarh check in at hotel Roopangarh Fort. Roopangarh fort is a vast war fort and has been over 350 years in the making. Explore the Fort with its underground tank, secret passage, jail and other historic buildings. The sunsets when seen from the highest point are spectacular. A heritage walks in the village of Roopangarh, which boasts of one main high street with its crafts, traditions and festivities and explore the innocent spirit of a lesser known India. Day 17 Roopangarh to Kunchaman

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Kunchaman and check in at Hotel Kunchaman Fort. The Kuchaman Fort was converted into a heritage hotel .The Fort’s formidable ramparts, innumerable terraces, balconies, and viewing points along with its rich and interesting history, makes it a great holiday destination with a difference. The views are spectacular since the hotel rises some 1000 feet from the entrance with several levels. The view at night of the lit-up city and the Aravalli hills is enchanting. You can visit the Meena Bazaar, within the fort complex, where the Kuchamani folk artists and crafts persons have stalls selling exquisitely made handicrafts. The fort also houses a museum of weapons and armour. A major part of the collection is in gold or silver with floral and geometrical motifs. The hall of the palace houses the beautiful miniature paintings, murals and gilded work.

 

Day 18 Kunchaman to Jaipur

 

 

This morning after breakfast you will drive to the pink city of Jaipur, This Afternoon visit the Amber fort, built in 16th century, enjoy an elephant ride at Amber. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds. In the afternoon you will visit the city palace and museum, walk to adjacent Jantar Mantar an astronomical observatory. Proceed to Chokhi Dhani. Day 19 Jaipur to Agra

 

This morning after breakfast you will drive to Mughal city Agra and check into your hotel. Enroot you will visit the FatehpurSikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 20 Agra

 

This Morning after breakfast visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar, and the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. You may also visit Dayal Bagh. By evening you will be transferred back to Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel to stay overnight in Delhi,

 

Day 21 Delhi to Onward Journey

 

Today you will be transferred to Delhi airport for your onward journey.
