Day 01 Arrive Delhi

 

On arrival at Delhi airport or railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.

 

Day 02 City Tour of Delhi

 

The sightseeing tour to explore the historic city, firstly visiting Old Delhi: the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama Masjid, the largest  and most splendid mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan of TajMahal fame, Rajghat, memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated. Later in you opt cycle rickshaw ride past through the bustling and colorful bazaar of ChandaniChowk.

 

The sightseeing continues to explore the best tourist attractions of New Delhi include President House (RashtrapatiBhawan). India gate, this monument was built to honour and tribute to the Indian soldiers, sacrificed themselves during the Afghan war, Birla Mandir (Laxmi Narayan Temple) built by wealthiest Birla family. Humayun’s Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai’s Temple, QutubMinar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty.  Later afternoon shopping at the malls. In the evening witness the light and sound show at Red fort. The show projects splendid history of 5000 years old city, a truly  memorable experience. Return to the hotel for overnight at the hotel.

 

 

Day 03 Delhi to Agra

 

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Agra. Enroute visit the Sikandra to see the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Then proceed to Agra. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After relaxation visit Agra Fort, designed and  built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal,Diwan-i- Khas,Diwan-i-Am, MacchhiBhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, MusammanBurj where from TajMahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort.  On arrival TajMahal, beautiful architectural monument among the 7 wonders of the world; this historical masterpiece is illustration of the fusion of diverse architectural styles. TajMahal is crown of all the loveliest buildings in the world, a symbol of eternal love. Then Sunset at TajMahal. Return to the hotel for overnight at the hotel.

 

 

Day 04 Agra – FatehpurSikri – Jaipur (240 kms: 5 hrs)

 

 

Early morning, visit world’s most popular and beautiful monument: TajMahal with its speculative view at the time of sunrise. Later check out the hotel and drive to Jaipur, en route visit FatehpurSikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty – FatehpurSikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint SalimChisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Later proceed to Jaipur. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the evening free for relaxation, you may opt to explore the colourful bazaar of Jaipur by cycle Rickshaw ride. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 05 Jaipur City Tour

 

Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. JantarMantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The HawaMahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex of Jaipur. Afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs. In the evening visit to Birla Temple, speculator white marble temple, glitters in the night.

 

Note: At night visit to Kamal’s house (owner of the company) for Dinner. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

 

Day 06 Jaipur to Pushkar

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the holy city Pushkar. This afternoon you will visit, The Man Mahal, The Brahama Temple-It is the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma. The temple is marked by a red spire and over the entrance gateway, is a beautiful statue of a Hans or goose – the celestial of Lord Brahma. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 07 Pushkar to Udaipur

 

This morning after breakfast visit the DargahKhwaja Sahib, one of the holiest Muslim shrines in the country. Thereafter proceed to Udaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Late afternoon enjoy a two hour boat-ride on Lake Pichola and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 08 Udaipur City Tour

 

After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Udaipur,  visitingCity Palace built in 1559, a small palace over looking at the Lake Pichola, Main attraction of Place are Durbar Hall, Palace Museum and Jagdish Temple. Later visit Saheli Ki Bari that is a small ornamental garden built in the honour of Royal Ladies for recreational purpose and visit Lok Kala Mandal collection of folk art items like folk dresses, ornaments, puppets ,masks, dolls folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. Shilpgram to see the village arts & crafts.Followed by visit to Eklingji&Nagda Temples – built in white marble with a double storied porch on the bank of Lake Bageela – 22 kms from Udaipur.Overnight at the hotel.

 

 

Day 09 Udaipur –Ranakpur-Jodhpur

 

This morning you will be transferred by road to Ranakpur famous for Jain Temples. The Ranakpur Jain Temples were built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch RanaKumbha in the 15th century. An enormous basement covers 48,000 sq. feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty four pillared halls and eligibly domes supported by over four hundred columns. Visit MuchhalMahaveer Temple- The distinctive feature of this Jain temple is the statue of Lord Mahavira with a moustache. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 10 Jodhpur City Tour

 

Take a sightseeing tour of the city visiting massive the Clock Tower, the massive Mehrangarh Fort, magnificent JaswantThada (Mausoleums of the great Rajput King: Jaswant Singh), UmaidBhawan Palace and museum–  is one of most imposing and regal palaces,   built by Maharaja Umaid Singh, designed by of famous architect Edwardian and Henry VaughanLanchester, who constructed this wonderful palace, a   fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture.  In the evening, you may choose ‘On the rocks’ at AjitBhavan, an open air restaurants with Rajasthani hospitality, offering authentic food and folk music and dance. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 11 Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Jaisalmer. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 12Jaisalmer City Tour

 

Today after breakfast take city tour of Jaisalmer city, firstly visit  most popular Golden Fort, also known as Sonar Kila and Jaisalmer Fort, the fort is built on the top of Trikuta hill, having 99 bastions, the most speculator feature is Megh Durbar, also many temples, near the fort  there are  marveloushavelies built by the wealthy traders of the past time, notably havelies are Nathmalji Ki Haveli, Patwonki Haveli, Salim Singh kihaveli, the splendid mansions with latticework and stone carving, a truly break tacking intricacy. Afterwards visit to the one of the beautiful lake known as ‘Gadisar Lake’ the entrance of the lake is quite artistic and there is past days story behind this lake. In the evening drive to Sam Sand Dunes, the nearest place of the Great Thar Desert, Sam Sand dunes are seems to be golden stretched sands as a gateway to Thar Desert. Enjoy camel ride to on the sand dunes and also the sunset at desert.

 

Note: Optionally you can stay overnight at the Sam Sand dunes in luxury tented accommodation, enjoying the starry night with ethnic food, folk dances, bone fire and camel safari in dunes in nights hours.

 

Day 13Jaisalmer to Bikaner

 

 

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Bikaner. The city was founded by RaoBikaji in 1488; RaoBikaji was the son of King Jodhaji of Jodhpur, due to some personal confront with his family, he took the courage to build his own city by adopting desert and barren land and then he transformed into a charming city called Bikaner, and the city was named after the King Bikaji On arrival, transfer to the hotel. After relaxation, take an excursion to Deshnok, which worldly known for the Rat Temple, this temple is 600 years old, dedicated to Goddess Karni Mata, Junagarh and Lallgarh palace are major tourist attraction of the city. The city is known for colourful market and camel festival every year. Afterwards return back to hotel for overnight.

 

Day 14 Bikaner to Mandawa

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Mandawa. Here you can take a walking tour of the old havelies in this region belonging to some of the leading business families of the country; you can also visit the Mandawa Castle. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 15Mandawa to Delhi

 

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred back to Delhi. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 16 Delhi to Onward Journey

 

Today you will be transferred to Delhi airport/railway station for your onward journey.
